Projects
Games, 3D and web products. Every project has its own page with a full breakdown.
Who's behind this
I'm Oleh Krzhechkovskyi, a 3D artist and Unity developer working under the name Kelhem. I've been in 3D and game development since late 2018. These are usually two separate roles, and the seam between them is where the time goes: the artist waits on the programmer, the programmer waits on the artist. I cover both sides myself, so I can take a task whole: from the model and the animation to a mechanic that works in the build.
Everything I know is self-taught. I opened Blender in late 2018, then picked up each next tool because a job needed it: that is how Unity arrived, then VR, then multiplayer. An unfamiliar engine or SDK is a normal part of the work for me, not an obstacle. The code in my projects is written together with neural nets, a tool I picked deliberately: with it I take an idea of any size all the way to a build. My half is the half AI will not do for me: working out what exactly we are building, breaking it into steps, thinking through how it should be put together, and finding the way around when there is no direct one. I've worked alone and in distributed teams, on Git, Plastic SCM and Trello.
My personal projects are the proof. I made an animated series entirely alone, from the first polygon to the final cut and sound. And on a YouTube channel with 6,800+ subscribers I teach 3D so that a complete beginner can follow, lately covering not just Blender but Unity and how to put neural nets to work in a real pipeline.
English is a working language for me: for three years I ran all the development for an English-speaking client (LEENIUM), with calls and correspondence entirely in English.
Looking for: remote work with a European studio or team. Full-time, contract or freelance. Time zone UTC+2: my working hours fully overlap with Europe. Test tasks welcome.

Unity VR Developer · LEENIUM
VR for Meta Quest and PC: showcase and training scenes, an interior configurator, a from-scratch multiplayer VR prototype with full-body avatars and voice chat, and a fire-response training scenario for a UAE fire department. Over time the whole development side was on me, from interactions to lighting and builds.

3D & Level Artist, Unity · TCG World
An open-world metaverse. 3D modeling and the level art were on me, plus the promo side: trailers, animations and editing. Distributed team; the project came in through Matrix Creators.

2019 - now · freelance
3D Artist · Matrix Creators & own commissions
Models, rigs, animation and video for clients: solo and within a small outsourcing crew, the one that brought in the TCG World and LEENIUM projects. In parallel, the personal projects on this site: games, an animated series, product work.
